Clent Hills Ride report

So today I brought my veteran mare, Zim Nazka out of her semi retirement, and she showed everyone what she was made of – she was in fine form. She proved she hadn’t forgotten a singe trick!

She took on the challenging terrain for 32K, all in her stride, behaved impeccably throughout and performed like she was race riding…. particularly for the second half of the ride when I realised I had been far too sociable and was in danger of running out of time!!!

But we made it, at just under 12kph in the end, with an amazing recovery rate and a lovely trot up.

Well done Zim Nazka – it was a pleasure competing with you once more. You have given me so many fantastic memories over the years, and today was another one to add to the collection.
